Pink Flamingos

'To me, bad taste is what entertainment is all about' - John Waters

Queen of sleaze Divine lives with her son Crackers and her 250-pound mother Edie in a trailer, proudly holding the title of 'the filthiest person alive'. But competition is lurking in the form of married couple Raymond and Connie, who kidnap female hitchhikers and have their butler impregnate them, so they can sell the babies to lesbian couples. Divine takes on the fight mercilessly.

Murf/Murw Festival

This film screening is part of a series of three screenings for the 2026 edition of the Murf/Murw festival. Murf/Murw was founded in 2018 as a fanzine. Since 2020, they've organized an annual festival in the city center of Tilburg focused on experimental theatre, music, visual art and film. Each year with a new theme. This year's theme, or rather the good advice, is don't be evil.

The films are screened at a special location, the national heritage site Broekhovense church, a church building in Tilburg located at Broekhovenseweg 2.
