The zomerfilms in theatre de Nieuwe Vorst are a popular event in Tilburg. Every summer we screen movies in the open air in the garden of the theatre all for free. This year we want to use this event to give local filmmakers a voice and a chance to reach a large new audience.
Open call:
De zomerfilms in theater de Nieuwe Vorst zijn inmiddels een begrip in Tilburg. Elke zomer tonen we in de binnentuin van het theater helemaal gratis films in de buitenlucht. Dit jaar zien wij de zomerfilms als kans om lokale makers een stem te geven en een groter publiek kennis te laten maken met hun werk.
Open call: filmmakers with own work wanted
We are looking for short film makers who would like to present their own work at the zomerfilms as an amuse-bouche for the main film of the evening. Not only that, we'll also work together to pick a feature film to be screened together with your short that connects to your work. On the evening itself, the maker will introduce the pre-film and the main film, with the link between the two films as a common thread for the conversation of the evening.
